Hooked Wireless Signs Development Deal with Buzz Monkey Software
Hooked to Create Video Game Tools
Los Altos Hills, CA – September 03, 2004, For immediate release:
Hooked Wireless, Inc., today
announced that is has signed a development contract with Buzz Monkey
Software of Eugene, Oregon for the creation of video game production
tools. Buzz Monkey is an emerging force in the development of
console games on all major platforms, as well as a leader in the field
of battlefield simulation games for the U.S. Military. As its
first assignment, Hooked will create a re-mapping tool for terrain
geometry that will divide a middleware BSP into smaller rectangular
cells for streaming display, and will calculate and display processing
metrics for quantities such as triangles, textures and materials.

this, our first development deal", said John Airey, CTO and VP of
Engineering for Hooked. "This is a tight schedule, and a task
that's somewhat complex, but it's a task with which we've got
significant experience. We're quite sure that we'll be able to
deliver a fully-capable implementation on schedule and on budget."
Hooked Wireless is dedicated to the production of
consumer applications and video games for current and next-generation
cell phones. It was formed by industry veterans John Airey and
Mike Bruno in September of this year.
